A large crowd was on hand on Monday, November 3 at the Greenville Shrine Club to honor champions and top finishing race teams in all divisions at Greenville Pickens Speedway for the 2008 season.

Late Model champion Marty Ward was honored as he added a fifth championship title.  Tim Lollis was recognized as the Sportsman champion, Scott Mann in Chargers, and Dale Walker in Renegades.

In addition to awards for other top finishing drivers and teams in all divisions, special awards went to the following:

Renegade best non top 5 season:  Jeremy drummond

Renegade most improved:  Percy Proctor

Renegade newcomer of the year:  Jackie Manley

Charger: Charger most improved:  Mike Hughes

Charger best non top 5 season:  Zach Pressley

Charger newcomer of the year:  Phillip Peters

Sportsman most improved:  Bob Root

Sportsman best non top 5 season:  Randy Ballew

Sportsman newcomer of the year:  Chuckie Greer

Craftsman mechanic of the year:  Robert Pressley
