Coleman Pressley wasn't the top qualifier in Friday's special race at Greenville-Pickens Speedway, but he took advantage of being in front to lead start to finish for his second win here this season.

Pressley was lucky enough to draw the top starting spot, and used the inside front row start to stay in control while a handful of top drivers fought it out behind him.

Ralph Carnes also had a front row starting spot, and stayed right there in second, while David Roberts and Marty Ward put on a mighty battle for third, which Roberts won.

The win, on a double-points night, gives Pressley the lead by two over Roberts.

"It's pretty cool to race here, where my father was champion, and my grandfather raced, and be kind of competitive with them," Pressley said. "I've never been in the points lead before, but we are only two months into the season. We've got seven more months to go, and we will just have to wait and see what happens during the season."

The top five rundown had Pressley in front, with Carnes, Roberts, Ward and Porter in the top five.

Kenneth Headen took sixth, with Anthony Anders seventh. John Lewis Hightower was eighth, as Randy Hawkins and Dan Van Saun completed the top ten.

Randy Ballew led from start to finish in the Sportsman main event, with Chris Chastain hanging on to second for much of the race but having to settle for third as Tim Lollis got by in the last third of the race. Stephen Horton raced his way to fourth and C.M. Knight worked his way up to fifth.

In the first Charger main event, Zachery Pressley led from start to finish for his first win, and Tyler Stephens, who started second, also finished right there. Andy Norris was third, with Tim Crowe fourth and Ricky Stephens fifth.

Chuckie Greer won the second Charger main, with Michael Headen second and Scott Mann in third. Les Mahaffey finished fourth and Michael Mote was fifth.

One of the highlights of the evening came in the second Renegade race, when Malibu Monica Blount drive her hot-pink Chevrolet to victory.

Blount took command from the pole position when the green flag fell, and she jumped out to a 20-car-length lead. She stayed right there as Percy Proctor and Freddy Hale, Jr., fought it out for second place.

As Blount came across underneath the checkered flag, Late Model Stock driver and good friend Amanda Lynch was jumping up and down on pit road, yelling and waving her arms. Lynch was the first person to her door in victory lane, and her win was the first, ever, by a female in the Renegade division.

Zane Jannelli was fourth and Richard Davenport fifth.

In the first Renegade race, Matt Hale came up from fifth to take the win as pole sitter Jackie Manley faded to eighth. David Cepek took second, with Tony Leslie third, Dale Walker fourth and Jeremy Drummond fifth.
