New faces - New voices for the 2010 edition of the DICK JAMES LAW FIRM 'Upstate Race Day' radio show.

Trouble, trouble! One mircophone and three big voices for the 2010 edition of the UPSTATE RACE DAY radio show. New anchors Greg Dodgens (L) and Tim 'Boss Hog' Crowe (R) join GPS' Keith Cochran for another season, beginning with the first broadcast on Wednesday, March 10 from the annual GPS Starting Line Party. (we'll get added mikes for Greg and Tim before that first show!)
Greenville, SC (January 27, 2010) - Greenville Pickens Speedway will kick off a new season of the Dick James Law Firm's 'Upstate Race Day' radio show this coming March, to be broadcast in the usual time slot...each race day live from Greenville Pickens Speedway from noon until 1pm. Same station (that's 104.9FM WCCP, The Drive) and same time, but a new lineup of voices behind the microphones are ready to go for a new season of NASCAR hometown excitement at GPS.
Joining anchor host Keith Cochran from the track will be a former track champion and another veteran driver who knows how to evoke emotion on the GPS oval.
Tim 'Boss Hog' Crowe will join the team in 2010, as color commentator specializing in the GPS developmental divisions. "The Boss certainly can get the excitement rolling at GPS, and we feel he'll be a great addition to the show..bringing that emotion and passion for the sport to the airwaves of WCCP," said GP marketing director Keith Cochran. "Everyone knows Boss Hog, many love to cheer him on, others love to cheer against him, but regardless...you can always count on the sparks to fly everytime the Boss hits the track. Fans can expect that same excitement and passion as 'Boss Hog' provides the color commentary for the 'Upstate Race Day' show in 2010."
2005 GPS Sportsman champion Greg Dodgens joins the lineup for 2010, offering the expert technical advise and support that has become a big part of the 'Upstate Race Day Show' over the years. "We were thrilled when Greg agreed to come on board as the technical specialist in 2010," Cochran said. "He's known far and wide as one of the most knowledgable and respected experts in this field, and his contribution to the show will be a great value and benefit for both the track, the drivers and teams, and the fans who enjoy the show and jump start their upstate race day by tuning in to 104.9FM."
Fans will definitely get a jump start on the season and the Dick James Law Firm's 'Upstate Race Day' radio show in 2010. The first show will be broadcast live from QUAKER STEAK AND LUBE on Wednesday, March 10 as part of the 2010 Greenville Pickens Speedway annual Starting Line Party, hosted by Quaker Steak and Lube on Chrome Drive in Greenville. The new lineup featuring Cochran, Crowe, and Dodgens will hit the airwaves from 5 to 6pm prior to the 2010 Starting Line Party for the initial 2010 show, followed by the first show on race day from the track on Saturday, March 13, prior to opening night 2010.
