Marty Ward was the  fastest qualifier for the first 50-lap Late-Model Stock main event Saturday  night at Greenville-Pickens Speedway
, and he  used that advantage to sit on the pole, jump out front, and lead every lap of  the race en route to the points lead.

The track took my  engine apart last week, and put me behind some coming into this race, but with  the help of my crew, plus Brian Ramey and Hometown Food Stores, we got  everything together,” said Ward. Ward finished ahead of  Toby Porter, who outran Anthony Anders, and  Kenneth Headen rounded out the top five positions. Top five positions were  to be inverted for the nightcap.

In positions six  through ten were Jeremy Burns, Ralph Carnes, Corey
Gibson, Anthony Cordell and  Tasha Kummer. It was a quick start  for Ward in the second race, moving in from fifth
place to second in the first  four laps before Jeremy Burns, who was running fourth, got involved with Kenneth  Headen bringing out first caution flag.

Ward went on to the front on the  restart. Ward took both races on  Saturday. Anthony Anders was second and Toby
Porter, who has been close to the  front all season, took third. Randy Porter took fourth and Ralph Carnes was  fifth.
“We changed the tires  around for the second race, and things went our way,”   Ward said after his second  win. “I sure do love a greasy racetrack.”

Dylan Crowe took yet  another Pure Stock main event, keeping his string of wins alive. This was five  straight for Crowe. Camden Frances, and Michael Culbertson completed the  field.

Terry Hawthorne took  the win in the first Renegade race, with Kenneth Bearden and Charlie Trammell in  second and third, respectively. Andrew Cordell and Travis Cox completed the top  five.

Jeremy Drummond grabbed  the win in the second Renegade race as Ray Mullinax who started on the outside  front row, held on to second.

Jamie Tate took  advantage of a last-lap pass to win the Charger main, as James Johnson  took  second. Andy Norris, who had led the way most of the race, went back to  third.
