A pair of 50-lap Late Model races provided exciting bookends to a night of racing at Greenville Pickens Speedway Saturday.

A two-car battle highlighted the opening Twin 50 race.  Pole winner Marty Ward benefited from lap traffic to hold of Toby Porter for the win.  Ward led every lap, and Porter - who started fourth - grabbed second early on.  Those two separated themselves from the other cars.  On the final turn, Porter looked to go inside, but Ward used lap traffic to his advantage to stay ahead for the victory.

Those two drivers battled again in the nightcap Twin 50 event.  Porter captured the lead in the first half of the race and held off a hard charging Anthony Anders and Ward until the late laps, staging one of the best close LMS races of the season at the half mile track.  Ward began to move on Porter on lap 48, taking the lead on the white flag lap and holding on for his second win of the evening.

"That's one of the best races we've had in a while," Ward said in GPS Victory Lane after the nightcap race.

T.J. Lollis of Easley dominated the first Renegade race, which started with a pair of cautions before two laps could be completed.

In the second Renegade event, Shawn Campbell came up from the back to take the lead on lap four and held on for the win.

On the final lap of the Charger race, leader Ryan 'Dirty' Dombrosky went high in the fourth turn, allowing a hard charging James Johnson to pull even going down the stretch.  Dombrosky managed to wrestle his race car back under control at the last minute to surge at the stripe and finish just inches ahead of Johnson for the win.  "I thought he had me coming off four," Dombrosky said in Victory Lane.

Tim Lollis started last and survived a collision coming out of the first lap to capture his second straight Sportsman Truck win.  He led most of the race, pulling away late from Easley's Jamie Tate, who held on for a strong second place finish.

Camden Francis took the lead early and dominated the rest of the way to win in the Pure Stock Division.
