REMEMBERING GPS WALL OF CHAMPIONS MEMBER STEVEN HOWARD

Friends, family and fans of 1996 GPS Track Champion Steven Howard are invited to visit Steven's spot on the GPS WALL OF CHAMPIONS and leave a remembrance this week. Steven died of an undetected heart problem this past Saturday.

Steven was the 1996 GPS track champion, and many fans will remember that spectacular season and especially the huge fireball in the front pits when his car and another collided. Steven escaped that incident, but barely.

"It is a shock and sad experience to the GPS racing family anytime we lose one of our GPS Wall of Champion members, and especially in Steven's case since he was such a young member of that exclusive club," said GPS marketing director Keith Cochran.

Fans and friends can visit Steven's spot on the GPS WALL from 9 - 5, Monday thru Friday. Stephen's space on the wall is located on the backstretch, just beyond the Turn Two exit.
