There was a lot of locking up at Greenville-Pickens Speedway Saturday night, as Randy Porter had some mechanical misfortunes but locked up his third track championship.

Anthony Anders locked up the South Carolina points title, while Will Burns locked up Rookie of the Year both in South Carolina and at GPS.

And Anders finished off his night's racing by winning the second 50-lap main. He took command on the ninth lap and led the way to the finish as Jeremy Burns tok second and Kenneth Headen was third. Marty Ward was fourth and Trey Gibson was fifth.

Randy Porter was forced to start a back-up car in the second main event but a good, solid run was enough to insure his third track championship.

"We made some changes between races, and everything came together" Anthony Anders said after the nightcap victory. "Jeremy (Burns) put some pressure on my there for a while, but I managed to crank a little more back break into the car and kept the top spot."

In the first race, Jeremy Burns took his time getting to the front, but for the last 10 laps he had the point and took the checkreed flag.

"There for a long time I was in third with Marty Ward and Randy Porter out front, and I decided to save my tires for later in the race," Burns said.

Then, on the 38th lap, Porter and Ward were involved in a racing accident, and Porter was unable to continue. He was in 13th place in the final rundown, and that finish was enough to guarantee him his third track championship.

Porter went into the evening 70 points ahead of Kenneth Headen, who finished fifth.  Toby Porter had been third in points, with Anthony Anders fourth, 88 points behind.

With Burns winning and Ward in second, Will Burns managed to get by Anders for third place. Tasha Kummer finished sixth.

"I was glad for the win, Burns said. "I did it by saving my tires, and Marty Ward is the driver who taught my how to save them. It  was a great race."

Kenneth Headen added another win to his Truck Championshp, coming up from fourth-place in three laps to grab the lead. Once in front, Headen was never threatened. Tim Lollis was second, with Bob Root third. Gene Burnett and Michael Altop in fourth and fifth, respectively. Randy Culpepper completed the field.

Ricky Stephens started back in the pack but worked his way to the front and took the checkered flag in the Charger main. He finished ahead of Bryan Davis, with Tim Croew third, Zach Pressley fourth and Chuckie Greer in fifth.

With his fifth-place finish, Greer locked up the division championship.

With his fourth place finish in the first Renegade main event, Ryan Walker clamed the division championship. And Travis Cox was the race winner. Jamie McCall finished second and Jeremy Drummond was third. Larry Nabors finished fifth.

Freddie Hale, Jr., wrapped up the championship in the Street Stock division in fine fashion, winning the five-lap race. Cody Hill was second and Mark Gibson took third. David Rader was fourth and Furman Craft rounded out the field.
